Words cannot convey our gratitude to our honourable Chief Minister Thiru. M.K.Karunanidhi AVL, for introducing the most sought after scheme for the poor- Kalaignar Insurance Scheme for life saving treatments. Raghava Lawrence introduced Yogeshwaran 13 year old  suffering from brain tumour to the Honourable Chief Minister in a programme seeking help for radiation therapy. Immediate action was taken the very next day by our honourable Health Minister Thiru. M.R.K.Paneerselvam. Now the boy has completed Radiation therapy and is under kemotherapy at Billroth Hospitals both through the Kalaignar Insurance Scheme. Not only Yogeshwaran but 50 such persons below poverty line requiring different treatments were identified by the trust. Now thirty of them have undergone open heart surgeries, urology and orthopaedic treatments.

At a time when children below poverty line suffering from heart disease from various districts of Tamil Nadu approached us for help and we were organising open heart surgery with great difficulty, special thanks to Our honourable Chief Minister Dr.Thiru.M.Karunanidh’si for introducing the “Ilam Sirar Irudaya Aruvai Sigichai Thittam”, through which we completed open heart surgery for children Below Poverty Line from various districts in Tamil Nadu.
